Aquatic Serenity (Original Composition) in Mario Paint Composer

Note: I just realized that the first 5 seconds sounds sort of like the first 5 seconds of the song in Buckyboy’s contest video. XD Don’t worry. I can assure you the rest is very different. Anyway, I was pretty much done doing mario paint for the day, when a tune came to my head. I liked the sound of it, and started working on an OC. I really hope this hasn’t been done before (you know, a tune comes to your head, but it was already used in another song). Enjoy. ^^

Insomnium - At The Gates of Sleep

Here’s the beautiful lyrics to this beautiful song! [Music & lyrics: Sevänen] Listen to the night, hearken to the silence The wind sings in fir-trees, forest’s music rings Rueful is the tune, wailful the soughing Soothing is the choir, murmur of the trees Time to forget all the heartache and pain Time to leave behind all the toil and travail Here where the water mirrors a still sky Here a fair place for a child to lie Under the woeful sky, moss-grown our bed tonight Here we sprawl in mellow darkness In warm caress of the night Far away from world’s betrayals Afar from all the Heaven’s might Better to dream, far sweeter to slumber Than face the cold days, bear the grim longing Time to rest a while, close the drowsy eyes Sleep till the dawn, till the bleak morning Heed not the rustle or hoots of the owl Heed not the ghosts that still dwell in the soul Night brings us solace and serenity deep Night brings at last neverending sleep Better it would be to sleep forever In silent shades of the evernight Sweet are the dreams in the groves of death Far away from the earthly woes Sound is the sleep under spruce’s boughs Serene are the dreams in the darkling shade Gone are the cares of the waking world Forgotten the sorrows of the weary heart

russell’s hike to pagat cave

Hafa adai, my name is Russell Cortez and the video footage I took entails my hike to one of Guams popular hikes, Pagat Cave. Dense forestry, rocky inclines, abyssal-like caves, and serene waters are some of the magnificent features that you should anticipate when you hike to Pagat Cave. The pathway to Pagat Cave is truly a treacherous one, but it is also most fulfilling. The access point to the pathway of Pagat cave is located in the outskirts of Mangilao and Yigos back road. Pagat Caves pathway begins to appear wide and harmless, but as you continue to make your hike further into the jungle you will begin to notice a variety of abominable landscaping. These various types of landscaping range from sharp-point limestones to unstable rock formations. After accomplishing all the rigid terrain, you will find yourself at the base of the pathway, and there you will discover Pagat Cave. At a glance Pagat Cave appears to be a dark, abyssal-like hole, but as you hike into the mouth of the cave your opinion will soon change. The cave is definitely a beauty to behold, because of its clear, pristine pools of water, which engulf the floors of the cave. Pagat Caves true beauty exists within the deeper and darker sections of the cave, because in these sections you will find a deeper pool of water, and many kinds of stalagmite formations. The relaxing, cool waters and the scenic landscaping of the cave is what makes the difficult hike all the worth while.

Cold Fresh Water Dip # 198– Jan 20th, 2010

Hey Guys—So here we are in Northern Ontario and guess what, most of our water out here is FROZEN! We dipped today at Snow Shoe Falls and it is about a 40 minute drive outside of town some of which is through the woods. So its not easy to get to and by the time it is said and done it takes about an hour and a half. We will be dipping out here every Wednesday and we will be posting and shooting bonus videos in between but not every day. So enjoy and thanks for tuning in. Take a look at the scenery– When I hit that water today it brought me back. I miss the refreshing feeling of the cold atlantic but in a way each dip is very raw! It feels great and it is very serene. Well in all my dips never before have we had such a serene setting as we do today! Mike Nordby, Your whetherman
